Horrible Experience
“She sold us a horse claiming it was child broke, 13 years old, utd, easy to load/catch. The horse threw my ten year old daughter, took us 2 days to find & catch her. Fought to load. Vet checked her & she is around 20 y/o.. & has COPD.. When I called her she hung up on me. Refuses to answer my calls or text. I posted about her on Craigslist & had several emails about her saying similar things! I'm so thankful my daughter was not seriously injured! However, it did scare her to the point she has lost all interest in getting on a horse again. This woman is a crook & heartless!” -

“Never ever trust her! I would rate a zero! She neglected the animal we purchased from her! Blocked my brother from Facebook. Then never answered or returned calls! Very sad! These words are true! No rating! She blocks you on her phone! Who does that? Never trust someone who does this. The truth never goes away... ever!” -

Wayfarer Farm
Save yourself a headache
“Moved after a week! The contract she wants u to sign is so she can have ur horse vetted and given what ever she pleases, shoed also and u pay the costs or your horse is hers. If u are 30 days late on payment she will take ur horse. When she gave me a check for the refund board she put a stop payment on the check, this is a small summary of what is happening so i would not recommend this place to any one!!! Beware of wayfarer farms because we are now going to court!! I wouldnt give it any stars but it made me ” -

Thumbs Up For Wayfarer Farm!!
“Wayfarer Farm has been at the same location for over 31 years. In that time, they have cared for over 2,000 horses. This list includes broodmares, race horses, foals and horses of every breed! Thumbs up for a place where the animals come first!!” -

Bar Y LTD Trail Rides
Nauvoo to Carthage
“This was back in 2003. My wife, son & I took the Bar Y horse & wagon ride from Nauvoo to Carthage. I was particularly interested because one of my ancestors, Nauvoo Town Marshal John P. Greene, made that ride with Joseph Smith and others in June 1844. I was appreciative that I was able to make that same ride (as near as possible.) Thanx to the Yager family for the opportunity.”
