Nate’s training mantra is “diminishing cues”…diminished to the point of nearly invisible. To achieve the goal, he trains the horse to be willing and soft by rewarding such behaviors and responses. His goal for the rider is to teach him/her how to work quieter and softer while getting bigger, better and more consistent responses from their horse. The whole reason he does what he does - seeing that “Ahh Ha!” moment when a taught skill is learned, be it either horse or rider. Nate’s education is in equine nutrition and exercise physiology. But, his passion is training and showing cutting and cow horses. Thanks to his God given gifts and talents, he is also a trainer and clinician with a solid resume.
